What are the shipping costs?

Your Kinky-shoes order will always be shipped insured!

We offer free shipping to "EU-1" countries (the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France and Spain for:

  • Orders > €130,-* (Lupit Pole products not included; please refer to our Lupit Pole Terms)
  • For shoes from our own showroom stock**

We offer free shipping to "EU-2" countries (Austria, Italy, Sweden,  Denmark, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia) for:

  • Orders > €150,-* for shoes from our own showroom stock**

              All prices stated include VAT, unless stated otherwise. VAT rates may differ per country, hence the calculated shipping costs may also differ from the prices indicated above.               What are Pre-orders and Backorders?



              We buy on order from our American supplier. For that reason, the delivery time is usually one to 1½ weeks.

              But there are also exceptions to this delivery time.


              Pre-orders and Back-orders:

              Sometimes styles or sizes are temporarily unavailable because they are sold out at Pleaser, or new styles have been announced by Pleaser and will be available soon. If Pleaser indicates that they will be in stock within a month, you can already place an order. We call this:

               

              Pre-orders & Backorders. 


              Backorders:

              If a certain size can be ordered as a backorder, the "add to cart" button will be replaced by a black "Backorder" button.
              The button looks like this:

              In the description on the product page you can find which sizes the backorder applies to and when that size will (most likely*) be available again. But keep in mind that this can always shift a bit*.

              If a certain size does not show a backorder button but a regular (clickable) "Add to cart" button that means the size is available already!

              Placing a backorder is almost the same as placing a 'normal' order. You can add a product to your shopping cart by clicking on the "Backorder" button and proceed to checkout.

              Keep in mind: that the delivery time will most likely be longer than 1 - 1½ weeks; depending on when the item(s) is/are available again



              Pre-orders

              For pre-orders it works about the same as for backorders: the expected delivery date is stated in the product information.

              A pre order product page will look something like this:

              Keep in mind: that the delivery time will most likely be longer than 1 - 1½ weeks; depending on when the item(s) is/are available again

              the delivery time, in both cases, is therefore longer than 1 to 1½ weeks.
              The delivery time depends on when the styles or sizes are available at Pleaser and on the shipment from the USA to the Netherlands.
              The delivery time will be approximately one - one and a half weeks starting from the date that they are available again. Keep that in mind!

              We will of course keep you informed in case of any delay (or earlier delivery date).

              * it can sometimes happen that a model turns out not to be available when we purchase it for you; we are ultimately also dependent on our supplier and whether the current stock indication is correct. In this case we will always look for a suitable solution in consultation with you; we can possibly help you choose a different model or colour, take a look in our own stock if we have something similar, or find out when the desired model will be available again and put you on a 'Backorder' list; you will then receive the ordered item as soon as it is available again.
              Of course you always get the choice to cancel your order, in which case you will receive the amount paid back in the same way as you paid **.

              What dimensions/sizing does Kinky-shoes use?

              Converted sizing and dimensions:

              Our shoes and boots come from America and have American sizes (1 inch = 2.54 cm). Our American supplier lists both US sizes (American shoe sizes) and converted EU sizes* on the shoe boxes.

              *The Western European dimensions that we use in the Netherlands, Belgium and other EU countries.

              However, experience shows that the converted EU sizes stated on the box are not always correct. The larger shoe sizes in particular are often a bit larger than stated on the shoe box. Therefore we use our own converted EU sizes and not the EU sizes stated on the boxes.

              Order the size you normally wear, we already take into account how a model fits (large, small or true to size).

              If the sizes deviate from our normal converted sizes, we will explicitly inform you about this in the product description.

              How do I calculate the right size for me?

              See how you can calculate your size using a conversion table on our information page: How do I know which size I have and which one I should order?

              If you are between sizes, we usually recommend rounding up the size for a closed/closed model, such as a pump or closed boot. With an open model, such as a sandal, where the toes and/or heel are 'open', we recommend rounding down.

               

              However, we would kindly ask you not to order the same item in different sizes and then return the sizes that do not fit.

              But -> Please contact us so that we can help you determine the correct size.

              If the shoes do not fit, you can always exchange them for a different size.
              It is a bit of a waste of your and our time and money to order items in multiple sizes if you already know in that some of those items will be returned.

               

              What if I want to order a specific US size?

              If you would like to order a specific US size because you know which Pleaser US size you have, this is of course possible: in that case, choose the size option that contains the US size you want to receive.

              We always buy the US size indicated in the size options as in the following example:

              From US size 12 we have adjusted the sizing slightly, as you can see:

              • US-12 is converted to EU-size 42/43;
              • US-13 is converted to EU-size 44;
              • US-14 is converted to EU-size 45 and so on.

              Where can I find your sizing and conversion table?

              You can find them in two ways:

              You can find a horizontal button on the right side of most pages (both on your mobile and on a computer): On the page of a product itself you can find the conversion table ("Maattabel/Maatvoering") above the "Add to cart" button:

              Boot dimensions:

              We are currently implementing the dimensions of all boots so that you can see the calf circumference, shaft circumference and shaft length/height of the selected size at a glance.

              Due to the large number of boots in all available sizes, it will take a while before this is all implemented. Until then you can look up the measurements in the Boot calf/shaft size data sheet. For an explanation of how to do this; view our explanation page

              NB:

              Please let us know if you have already taken into account a smaller or larger fit of the shoes so that the ordered item won't be purchased two sizes too large or too small. You can notify us in the 'Special instructions' section in your shopping cart:

              Can I have the ordered item delivered to a different address or pick-up point?

              You can also have your order shipped to a different address or collection point. Click on the instructions below for:
              - sending to another address (not a pick-up point)
              - collection at a parcel point

              Please note: we do not manually check the address you enter, you are responsible for entering a correct address. If we have to ship your order twice (or more) due to an invalid address you have to pay for each new shipment yourself, and we will charge you for the shipping costs in advance.

              Is a model in stock? | Stock-level |



              We buy on order from our American supplier. For that reason, the delivery time is usually one to 1½ weeks.



               When an item is present in our own showroom stock in the size you selected, there will most likely be a stock-indication shown in between the product price and description;
              "Showroom Stock: ... ";
              that shows our current stock.

              It will look something like this:

              If an item is in stock in our own showroom, we will ship it within a few days. 




              If an item is available at the supplier, but not present in our own showroom you will find a stock-indication saying "in stock at supplier" and it will look like this:

              If an item is not in stock and also not available from the supplier, this will be indicated (in most cases) by the fact that the item cannot be ordered/cannot be placed in your shopping cart when you select the desired size and you will see this indication:

              out of stock


              Occasionally it is possible that we are not yet aware of a sold-out size*.

              If you can add an item to your shopping cart, this means that the item is most likely available* from the supplier (with the exception of sale models, which may have already been sold out).
              The delivery time is then approximately one to 1½ weeks.

              How do I know what size I have, and what size to order?

              How to measure your feet:

              To determine the correct size, it is best to measure your feet in the evening. After walking and standing all day, your feet are at their largest at that time of the day.

              Naturally, when determining your size, you should also take into account whether you have bare feet or whether you will be wearing tights, stockings or socks in the shoes. We recommend that you order slightly larger rather than too small. If the shoes are a little roomier, you can always compensate for this difference by putting an insole or gel/foam cushion in the shoes.

              Place one bare foot on a sheet of A4 paper

              Draw the outline of your foot with a pencil.

              Use a ruler to measure the distance (in centimeters) from the outside of your heel to the top of your big toe.

              After measuring you can take a look at the conversion table to see which size is corresponding to your foot length.

              If you are between sizes, we usually recommend rounding up the size for a closed toe-type, such as a pump or boot with a closed toe. With styles such as sandals, where the toes and/or heel are 'open', we recommend rounding down because you will have more room in this type of shoe.

              Order the size you normally wear, we already take into account how a model fits (large, small or according to size).

              The calf circumference, shaft circumference and shaft height of boots can be found in the table on a product page.

              Why can't I select my size?

              It is possible that your size is (temporarily) not in stock at the supplier. To avoid disappointment, this size cannot be ordered (temporarily). Sold out does not necessarily mean 'no longer available', in many cases they are produced again and can be ordered as soon as our supplier has received them. Please feel free to contact us about the relevant shoe and size to inquire whether and when these will be available again. We are happy to inquire with the supplier whether the shoe you want can still be ordered and when it is expected to be back in stock.

              In some cases it is not yet known if and when they will be available again, if they are produced it can take another three to four months before they are available again. But in most cases this will be a few weeks to 2 months, and if you are lucky sometimes only a week.

              Are there additional charges?

              Kinky-shoes does not charge any additional unexpected costs. You pay the price indicated for items and the prices below** for your shipping (or no shipping costs at all if you meet the conditions for free shipping)

                          Do you ship discreetly? | Is the payment discreet?

                          Shipment:
                          Kinky-shoes discreetly packs the shoebox(es) in a neutral plain red kraft packaging. No clear sender details are mentioned, only sender "K-S". If you prefer it even more neutral, please mention this with your order.


                          Payment:
                          Most of the payment methods we offer on our website are supplied by:

                          Mollie: Bancontact.
                          Shopify Pay: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, IDEAL, and Sofort.
                          PayPal.

                          Payment example, if you paid with any of the services supplied by Shopify Pay, then you'll see the name "K-S-ORDER" in your bank statements.
                          With Mollie | Bancontact you’ll see "K-S via Mollie."

                          We have, where possible, set our name to K-S. This makes most payments as discreet as possible. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to set a different name as a beneficiary everywhere, our apologies if this applies to you.

                          What are your opening times?

                          Kinky- & Party-shoes are webshops. 

                          On appointment only you can visit our showroom (Monday-Friday) to try on and view shoes and boots.

                          Please contact us first before traveling to Arnhem!

                          Please do respect this. It could be we are:

                            • not present in the showroom
                            • packing/processing orders
                            • in the middle of another (scheduled) appointment and, of course, we woud like to give everyone equal attention.

                          Respect- for us, but above all for our customers:

                          Not everyone is equally comfortable with-, or accustomed to-, trying on and buying shoes or boots. We have a versatile audience and we certainly love spontaneous people, but we are also there for a niche;
                          We specialize in plus sizes, fetish-, unisex-, drag-, crossdressing-, Pole- & Exotic dance- (and so on-) -shoes and -boots.
                          Kinky-shoes should be a safe, pleasant environment for anyone who needs it; unannounced visits make this difficult.

                          Because in some cases it is simply not convenient/well timed to have unannounced visitors, it can cause an uncomfortable and especially unpleasant situation... And, of course, we want to prevent that...

                          Stock:

                          Our stock mainly consists of canceled orders, returned (unused and undamaged) items, exchanged items, incorrectly purchased, or delivered items and in some cases models/sizes, purchased by us, that we want to have available in our showroom.

                          Pleaser has over 4000 unique styles in up to 13 sizes and maybe 20 color/material variations. Unfortunately, we can't store such a large collection in our showroom, so we don't have everything in stock. If you spontaneously visit the showroom, there is also a chance that we do not have anything in stock in your size or desired color / material / style.
                          Not everything we have in the webshop is physically present in our showroom --> that is why we have a delivery time of 1 to 1½ weeks.

                          Can I visit you to try on or view items?

                          Kinky- & Party-shoes are webshops, our office/showroom is located in Arnhem. It is possible to view and try on shoes in our showroom. This is only possible by appointment on Monday to Friday.

                          So please contact us before you travel to Arnhem!

                          It is possible that we are not present, just happen to be delivering or packing packages or already have other appointments at that time; and of course we prefer to give everyone our full attention.

                          We also (unfortunately) do not have all models in stock in every size, color and material type, so please inquire in advance whether we have specific models in your size (and possibly color or material type). If we do not have the desired color or material type in stock, but we do have the right size, you can of course come by to try them on for the size. If they can be ordered in the desired color or material type, you can still place the order and they will be purchased for you (after order and payment)

                          Can I pick up my order at the showroom?

                          You can also pick up your order free of charge in our showroom by appointment, this is possible on Mondays to Fridays. Choose the option 'pick up' when placing your order and no postage costs will be charged. You will receive a message from us when we have received the ordered item(s) to make an appointment to pick them up.

                          We always ask you to schedule an appointment with us; it can happen that no one is present in the showroom and you are standing in front of a closed door.

                          Can I send my return to a freepost number?

                          No, unfortunately you can't.

                          We try to keep our prices fair; and we do not think it is fair to include return shipments within our prices. Therefor the costs for your return shipment are at your own expanses.

                          It is up to you which carrier you use to send the return shipment, but you can of course also deliver the package personally to our office in Arnhem for free. Please do make an appointment if you choose the last option.

                          Please note:

                          • For returning (not exchanging) items that we imported for you from the USA, we will deduct €25,- import/postage/duty costs from your refund amount per item*.
                            • These are the costs incurred by purchasing the items you ordered
                          • We convert €15,- from that €25,- into shop credit. You will receive your shop credit by email and it can be redeemed on our website with your next order
                            • your credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue
                            • your credit cannot be exchanged for (cash) money
                            • If your return does not meet our return & refund conditions and we therefore apply a deducted refund in addition to the import/postage/duty costs, your right to this shop credit will lapse.

                          * When returning multiple items that we have imported, we always look at the costs incurred per individual situation; the amount we deduct and the amount we convert into shop credit depends on the actual costs we have incurred.

                          This applies to:
                          1) cancellation of the order before it is delivered to you, but has already been purchased by us
                          2) returning (part of) the order you have already received.

                          This amount only covers the costs incurred for imported the items you ordered; we do not charge any cancellation fees or restocking fees ourselves.

                          We import ordered items especially for you from our supplier in the USA; therefore the average delivery time is 1 to 1½ weeks (within the Netherlands) but this can be longer due to unforeseen reasons.

                          Of course we prefer not to do this, but in order to cover the unnecessary costs incurred by us and to discourage the many returns, this has unfortunately proved necessary. (think of the environment and please make sure you order the right items)

                          Sizing and Dimensions

                          See how you can calculate your size using a conversion table on our information page: "How do I know which size I have and which one I should order?"

                          Our shoes and boots come from the USA and have American sizes (1 inch = 2.54 cm).
                          These dimensions have been converted to the Western European size that we use in the Netherlands, Belgium and other EU countries. Our converted EU dimensions differ from those of our American supplier stated on the box. Experience shows that shoe sizes US-12 and up in particular are larger.

                          Order the size you normally wear, we already take into account how a model fits (large, small or according to size). Sometimes we explicitly inform you about this in the description.

                          If you are between sizes, we usually recommend rounding up the size for a closed model, such as a pump or boot. With an open model, such as a sandal or peep toes (where the toes and heel are 'open') we recommend to choose the smaller size.

                          If you want to order a specific US size, please select the desired US size indicated in the sizes. We always order the corresponding US size stated; the corresponding EU size determined by us may therefore differ from the EU size stated on the box.

                          If you would like to know the shaft circumference, shaft height and calf circumference of boots, you can calculate these for your size (for an explanation of how to do this; view our information page about calculating the circumference).
