Order Journey: for items that are not (all) in stock in my showroom

What you can expect from your Kinky-shoes order for items that are not (or not all) in my own stock:

 

Important; take the following into account:

If an item is indicated as being "in stock in my showroom" and you have only ordered items that are in stock; please refer to the order journey for in stock items: Order Journey: in stock


Kinky-shoes Order Journey


The journey of your order:

If the ordered items are not in stock with me or part of the ordered items are not in stock with me, they will be imported upon your order. The journey of your order will then (in most cases) proceed as follows:

You place your order before Monday 13:00 (1:00 PM) Dutch Time

I will place the order at the supplier:

Usually, I place my order with the supplier on Monday at 13:00 (1:00 PM) Dutch Time

Shipping from the supplier*:

In most cases, the ordered items will be delivered by the end of that week or the beginning of the following week. I always do my best to pack your order and ship it to you the same day as I receive them!

Expected delivery time*:

 

For shipments within the Netherlands and Belgium:

When handed over to the carrier, it will usually be delivered to you within 1 to 3 days.

For other countries, the delivery time varies between 3 and 10 days. But no rights can be derived from this! I can never guarantee a delivery time.

I will place the order at the supplier:

If I already placed my order and have not been able to add your order to it, your order will be included in the next order that I place with the supplier.

In most cases, the following Monday.

Shipping from the supplier*:

The ordered items are expected to arrive at my showroom at the end of the week I placed the order, or the beginning of the following week.

I also always do my best to pack your order and ship it to you on the same day I receive it!

Expected delivery time*: For shipments within the Netherlands and Belgium:

When handed over to the carrier, it will usually be delivered to you within 1 to 3 days.

For other countries, the delivery time varies between 3 and 10 days. But no rights can be derived from this! I can never guarantee a delivery time.

*The following applies to all orders for items that are not in my own stock:
The delivery time depends on how busy the supplier is, the import and clearance at customs ánd how busy the carrier is. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no influence on either one of them! 
I can never and will never guarantee that your ordered items will be delivered within a set amount of time because I can never know!

Shipping confirmation

If, one week after ordering, you have not yet received a shipping confirmation for items that I still have to import, there is no reason to panic!
As mentioned above, I do not place an order with the supplier every day:
If you place your order just after I have already placed my order with the supplier, it is possible that the items could no longer be added to that order and will be ordered the week after.

If I place my order on Monday, usually, on Tuesday or Wednesday the supplier lets me know which items have been shipped and I will send you an update that your ordered items are on their way (or very occasionally have not been shipped, unfortunately)

Important:
When you receive a shipping confirmation, your order has usually already been handed over to the carrier; from that moment on, I no longer have any influence on your shipment and can no longer change anything about the shipment or delivery address.

It is possible that your order has not yet been scanned by the carrier and that the track & trace that you received from me has not yet been updated/activated. An update will usually be available within a few hours; when the carrier scanned it.

Shipment:

As soon as your ordered items have been delivered to my showroom, I will pack your order and ship it to you as soon as possible. When I have handed over your order to the carrier, you will receive an email with your track & trace code to track the shipment. Sometimes your order has not yet been scanned and the track & trace does not work right away, but as soon as the carrier has processed and scanned your shipment, the track & trace will also be active

If I receive the ordered items before 16:00 (4:00 PM) Dutch Time, I will usually ship your order the same day.

If I receive the ordered items after 16:00 (4:00 PM) Dutch Time, I will still ship them the same day if possible*, otherwise I will ship them the next business day (Mon-Fri)

*I still do (and even a little extra) my best to send your order to you as soon as possible; but if this really isn't possible before the last batch of the carrier, I will send it the next business day (Mon-Fri)

Ultimately, I'm also depended on what time the ordered items are delivered to my showroom. Very occasionally, they arrive at the end of the afternoon and I am no longer able to pack everything and hand it over it to the carrier in time. If this is the case, I will inform you by email!

Important: if the ordered items have already been imported by me, I can no longer cancel or return them. On (almost) every page on my website at the bottom in a block with "general information", multiple times in the Refund- and Return Policy and in the Terms of Service, you can find information about costs that I, unfortunately, have to charge for cancellations before receipt or a return after receipt. I recommend that you read this information so that you are not faced with an unpleasant surprise!

General information

I import most items especially for you upon your order from the supplier. The average delivery time is 1 to 1½ weeks (within the Netherlands) but this can also be longer. This is an average delivery time, therefore it's not a promise or guarantee! Please keep that in mind!

Please note:

  • For returning (not exchanging) items that I imported from the supplier for you upon your order, I will deduct €25,- import/postage/duty costs from your refund amount per item*.
  • I will convert €15,- from that €25,- into a shop credit.
    • Once your return has been received in good order, you will receive a return confirmation and your shop credit will be added to your account
    • Your shop credit can be redeemed in the webshop for a next order
    • Your shop credit cannot be exchanged for (cash) money
    • Your credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue
    • If your return does not meet the return conditions and in addition to import/postage/import duty costs, a depreciation will also be applied, your right to this shop credit will lapse and all costs will be deducted from the amount to be refunded

* When returning multiple items that have been imported, I will always calculate the costs incurred per individual situation; the amount that will be deducted and the amount that will be converted into shop credit depends on the actual costs incurred and are subject to a reasonable compensation for the losses incurred.

This applies to:
1) cancellation of the order before it is delivered to you, but has already been imported by me
2) returning (part of) the order you have already received.

 

I would prefer not to have to charge these costs, but in order to cover the costs (losses) I have incurred due to the increasing number of returns, this has unfortunately proven necessary. To limit the number of returns (please think about the environment too) I would like to ask you to think just a little longer about your purchase, to make a well-considered decision and, if you are unsure, to ask me for advice or help! 

For a single exchange for a different size, these costs will not be charged. You can read more about this in the Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy.

Sizing and Dimensions

Converted sizing for Pleaser shoes:

Pleaser shoes come from the USA and have American sizing (1 inch = 2.54 cm). Pleaser lists both US sizes (American shoe sizes) and EU sizes (European shoe sizes) on the shoe boxes.

However, experience has shown that the listed, converted EU sizes are not always correct. In particular, the larger shoe sizes are often larger than stated on the shoe box. For this reason, I use my own converted EU size chart (see the Sizing page) and not the EU sizes stated on the boxes.

From US-size 12, the sizing for most shoes is slightly adjusted:

US-12 -> EU size 42/43;
US-13 -> EU size 44;
US-14 -> EU size 45 and so on.

 Important:

Order the size you normally wear, I already take into account whether certain shoes have a smaller or larger fit. If you have already done that too, please let me know (at the comments section in your shopping cart or by e-mail stating your order number) so that your order won't be imported two sizes too big or too small.

What if I want to order a specific US size?

If you would like to order a specific US size because you know which Pleaser US size you have, this is of course possible. I always buy the US size that is indicated. For example, as shown in the image below, I buy US-16 if you buy size 47/48:

You can see in the image above that the sizing has been adjusted slightly from US size 12 and up. For example, US-12 is a European size 42/43; US-13 is a European size 44; US-14 is a European size 45 and so on. On the shoe box, US-13 size 43 is indicated, but this conversion is not correct. So don't panic if you see another EU-size on the shoebox! ;)

How do I calculate the right size for me?

If you are between 2 sizes, I usually advise rounding up the size for a closed style such as a pump or boot with a closed toe. For an open shoe style such as a sandals, where the toes and/or heel are 'open', I advise rounding down the size.

I would kindly like to ask you not to order the same item in different sizes and then return the sizes that do not fit.

Please contact me so that I can help you determine the correct size. If the shoes do not fit after all, you can always exchange them for a different size!

It is a waste of time and money to order an item in multiple sizes if you know in advance that some of those items will be returned. The costs for the return shipment are for your own account and if items have been imported especially for you upon your order, the import/postage/customs costs will also be charged on to you. Please refer to section 6.2: Right of withdrawal in the Terms of Service

Boot Circumference and Shaft Height:

You can find all the specifications of the shoes in the specification table below the product; such as the shaft length, shaft circumference, calf circumference and the length of the inner sole of the shoes.

The (boot) specifications are size-related! So make sure you have selected the desired size to read the correct specifications.
